Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress who is mainly seen in Hindi movies. Three Filmfare Awards have been given to her, which make her one of India's most popular and well-paid actors. Time Magazine named Padukone one of the 100 most influential Influential people around the world in 2018. They also awarded her the TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone had the honor of being the youngest daughter of badminton champ Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born and raised in Bangalore. She participated in the national championships as a teenager but gave up the sport in order to be a model. In the next few years, she started getting offers to appear in movies and her first acting role was as Aishwarya the Kannada main character. Padukone was then cast in a double performance alongside Shah Rukh Khan in her debut Bollywood release, a romance Om Shanti Om (2007) and won her an award called the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Padukone was recognized for her role as the lead in the film romance Love Aaj Kal (2009) however, this was shortly followed by a minor setback.
