Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a rare pop phenomenon: A celebrity who has strayed from traditional music into pop culture, turning into an iconic pop star that is set to last forever and conquering all of the world. Swift left country music like it was an additional layer, showing that she is perhaps the most intelligent pop singer/songwriter of her time. A person who has the ability to tap into the mood of times to make her music personal and also be able to perform at the opposite. The skills she displayed were apparent in some of her earliest tracks, notably the Neodue Tim McGraw. But on the second album Fearless released in 2008 Swift was able to discover the person she was and reach a wide audience. The album was able to have significant appeal not just on the U.S. where it racked seven platinum singles due to the Top Ten hits Love Story and You Belong with Me but throughout the world performing particularly well within Canada, the U.K. Canada and Australia. Swift took off to the peak of stardom after the release of Speak Now. Her popularity only increased with her following three albums - Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017) and Reputation in 2017 and found her moving assuredly into a pop realm that she had already been a part of. Although she slowed down her strategy with 2020's stripped down sibling releases folklore and Evermore she continued to be atop of the charts, a place she maintained with re-recordings of her older catalogs as well as Midnights which was her top-charting synthesizer 2022 album.
